What is the difference between energy density and power density?

Energy density measures the amount of energy stored per unit weight (Wh/kg), while power density measures the maximum power output per unit weight (W/kg). High energy density batteries are better for long runtime, while high power density batteries are better for high-current applications.

How does temperature affect battery performance?

Temperature significantly impacts battery performance. Cold temperatures reduce available capacity and increase internal resistance, while high temperatures accelerate degradation. Most batteries perform optimally at 20-25°C.

What is cycle life and how is it measured?
